Vast Range:
Punch plate screens or perforated screens are simply holes punched into a steel sheet, the size, shape, and spacing of the holes, the material, and its thickness are determined by the application and are generally used as a sieve screen for separation and dewatering (removal of the solid matter) for liquid slurries/sludges, and numerous products.
From a functional perspective, and the manufacturing process of hole punching (minimum hole size 0.8mm), these screens are not used in applications where high levels of separation (small particle removal) or filtration are required.
High Strength:
Made from a single piece or sheet with few welded seems, these sieve screens can withstand high forces & pressures, vibration, heat, cope with dirty products, and can be made from materials to combat high levels of abrasion & corrosion, and for some applications to aid efficiency to combat dirty & difficult products, bars & flutes can be easily attached to break/cut large solids.
Their rigid structure enables these screens to be formed into various shapes and contours: flat, curved, cylindrical, conical, and U channel.
Applications:
Being versatile, punch plate screens are used in many of our separation products, for functional flooring & drainage/channel cover applications, also due to their attractive look and the vast range of hole shapes and sizes, can be used in architectural designs for building facades and deck & mezzanine floors.
